UK / Netherlands, 18 May 2016 – Round Hill Capital (“Round Hill”), a leading European specialist real estate investment and asset management firm, announces today that it has acquired a residential portfolio in the Netherlands with a total value of approximately EUR 110 million. The portfolio consists of 980 residential units, has a total floor area of 91,500 sqm. and was acquired from a number of private investors including Grouwels Vastgoed BV.
After the financial crisis, Round Hill was the first foreign investor to acquire a substantial portfolio of Dutch residential real estate assets. Round Hill has successfully acquired and managed more than 100,000 residential units across Europe and is one of the largest private landlords in the Netherlands and the Czech Republic.
Legal advisor for the transaction was Loyens & Loeff. The portfolio is financed by ABN AMRO. Grouwels Vastgoed was advised on the sale by Van Dijk en ten Cate Real Estate Agents.
